Hi there,

We just discovered the loop around Rithet's Bog in Saanich.

This came in from one of our readers:

Hi there,

Just wanted to share a favourite walk that I go on with some mommies from my mommy group.

Cedar Hill Golf Course - Click For Map

This is a great walk. There's a parking lot if you are travelling by car to meet someone or trying a new stroll.

Hidden Gem 1 - Click for Map

Although Victoria is a small place, it`s easy to live in one locale and not know about hidden gems located elsewhere.

Lone Tree Hill. Click For Map

Lone Tree Hill is a beautiful hike [My fave! - Editor] but you won't be able to do it with a stroller unless you are prepared to carry it most of the way as it's pretty rough terrain and steep in areas.

Mount Tolmie Park. Click For Map

Like Mount Doug, Mount Tolmie offers great views of the surrounding parkland and the city of Victoria.

Mount Douglas Park. Click For Map

If you are looking for one of the best views in Victoria, as well as a vigorous workout, head up Mount Doug!

Thetis Lake. Click for Map

Thetis Lake will give you a good work out and has a couple of trail options. You will need a stroller that can handle rough terrain for all trails. Be prepared to work up a sweat if heading up Seymour or Scafe hills.

Langford Lake. Click For Map.

We know lots of moms live in Langford and know the lake there is great for a walk or run. It's the city's largest lake and perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, picnics etc!
